Well always two sides to the story. Apparently group stopped for lunch, and group behind said enjoy and take your time. 20 minutes later they freaked out. Either way. Two things to take away.

1. don’t block the trail even if you think you are getting some grace.
2. Don’t say something’s okay if it’s not and then freak out about it.

 

just take the mudflaps off before you go on the trails....

No worries no worries. Hopefully the guy who emailed has a better taste about toyotas. Even if we aren’t associated with a group, we are now since the group got so big. Kinda bitter sweet so have to respond accordingly in my opinion to hold up the groups positive reputation

 

even so, 10 trucks on the trails - Arnt most trails closed to us right now? even if its 5-points?
Certainly would be another group or at least an unsanctioned group run at worst. Sucks but shit does happen i guess. we are large enough that the finger will be pointed to us as its easier than tracking down those who actually did it, but you did do your due diligence and left a reminder to all about trail etiquette.


(or they tracked us down because some clown from that group figured to slander us. /s)

 

Trails officially close December 1st unless posted otherwise. From OF4WD:
“Official 4WD season dates shall be considered to be May 1st to December 1st unless otherwise posted. However, for safety reasons we recommend you exercise extreme caution or stay off the trails during hunting season (dates are generally mid Oct into Dec).”

if it is a multi use trail or what not then you are good to go like in vmuts. But generally you have to be extremely cautious of this as you do not want to be on a snowmobile trail.

Yeah we did our due diligence and hopefully left a positive perception.

Yeah. We usually try not to stretch it too late into the season. When we were in Ardbeg this fall, lots of hunters were out for moose and grouse. Usually they are off the trails in the bush or on the water.
