Smoked another turkey today. I’m ready for pizza and hamburgers this week.

 

It's currently snowing. I distinctly remember not signing up for this.

4% add on gratuity without any explanation is on them and I would say screw it and do what you did.

As for any widespread, new societal conventions on tipping, forget about it. I think going back to your $20 whatever the bill is good up to a point. For me, I’d start adding $5 for every $25 over $80.

But not if the establishment added their own gratuity without explanation, no matter what it was.

 

Yeah, me and my imagination went on a bad spiral with it as well. From the time I read the reciept to the time I reached for my wallet, it escalated into a money grab to fund Hezbollah...

 

If not sign up for it, does it mean you don't have to accept it?

We got our first real snow of the year, about 8 inches in 3 hours. Luckily it stopped by 9pm and I could clean it up last night.

Muzzleloader week starts today, should be interesting...

Morning folks

Got a small list of to do's today. Got to pick up a small drain auger as last nights shower was both a shower and bath. Did the ol' plunger and rag trick a couple weeks ago and it didn't last long. Need to completely re-plumb that line as it's old copper drain pipe, but that's not on the plate right now.

 

Cole and I went to a consignment auction Saturday, they sold a double sided porcelain sign just like this one. It had a flange you could mount it to a wall or a pole, when I walked away from it it was at $1,400


I don't know what it hammered at, I was in shock it was at $1,400
