    Sooo went to the store and bought a 25' small drain snake, drain removal tool, gasket, and plumbers putty in case crap went sideways. The culprit? Darn lever pop-up assembly was stuck almost down :facepalm:

    I just removed the parts and put the cover back on. Not needed so why leave it in there collecting shmuck. I'll keep the other materials as you never know if I'll ever need it.
