Oh there will be some mods all right
Man I sure wish I didn't lol. I've been making a living with my body since I was 15 and a half. I know what it's like to have to work for things so if I all sudden came into a bunch of money I wouldn't be spoiled, I would appreciate it. Hopefully I have a rich relative that I don't even know about yet :p

its always amazing to me when people win the lottery and are back to being broke a couple years later. or an athlete retires and then immediately has to file for bankruptcy.

I can't remember what I was watching but pro athletes were basically saying there's only a couple BIG money makers on a team. The rest don't make anywhere near that. Despite fans thinking they're all
    multi-millionaires.
Last I remember the min NFL wage was like 425k annually but I'm sure that's since changed.

That's why they get caught up doing shampoo and credit card commercials. lol

Yea... there is NO way I would be responsible. Nope. Couldn't do it. I would immediately put some in trust for my girls and then GAME ON! Portals and 40's would be just the start... I'm 60, so not here for a long time but definitely here for a good time! Thats why I don't try/win. The fates know it would be a bad idea.

I think I could still make due on 5-10 years of a 425k salary

I have only 3-4 years till I'm done working, hopefully.
I've seen a lot of guys say when they're going to retire and they work a few years longer. That's why I say hopefully.

I keep saying next year when my daughter wanders out of the nest. More likely be a few years beyond that, although I am pretty fed up with public education...

Don't do it, guys. This retirement thing isn't what it's made out to be.

You're doing it wrong. Retirement has been great for me. I do not miss working at all.
