    None. Yet.
This is exactly what I did to start off with since the canvas would not stretch to meet the snaps and it fit like a glove. Now as the canvas begins to stretch out a little, I'll take up the slack by raising the topper frame back to the middle holes.

Bought a used Softopper off a fellow forum member and I'm really liking it. In fact I just ordered a camper top tent extension for it that will arrive Sunday. Looking forward to trying the camper extension out in the driveway, but it probably won't see actual trail use until next spring when I'll be wheeling and camping in Kentucky for a week.

Okay, maybe I'll try some Wisconsin winter camping with it. We'll see.

Nice! Which rear bumper is that? I like the double tube design. Similar to my Rock Runner from C4. Got it after I busted up my stock bumper and it's really the reason I have the Softopper now. Couldn't get the spare under the bed anymore so it had to go in the bed. No room with the hard tonneau I had if I wanted to sleep back there at camp. Built a rack for the tire under the Softopper.

I'm guessing these are overseas knock offs? Regardless, I'm happy with mine I bought in 2014. It looks and works the same as when I bought it from Soft Topper.

If they were around back then I may have bought one of those. Like you I'm curious of the durability.

Didn’t know they were making knockoffs of softoppers. Is nothing sacred??? Lol!!! Funny, but not.

Got my softopper installed today, it was a pain to snap the last 2 pieces on each side. Had to get help stretching the canvas while trying to snap the last pieces.
Question, how long should I leave it in place for the canvas to stretch so it would be easier to snap on next time? In case I want to run it in safari mode or lift one of the sides.

Does everyone cinch down the corner straps to make snapping down the canvass easier, then release most of the tension after all snaps are attached?

I did mine tonight alone. What a nightmare with the last button on each side. I stuck heater in side the bed and let it run for a few hour. It was a little easier. I'd be scared to unbutton it in the winter

I did. I also had to stick a heater in the bed of my truck. Let it run for a few hours

You can adjust that pivot pin down to make it easier to snap it down.

IMG_1943.jpg Hey, have had my topper on my truck for about 2 months now. I live in southwest Washington so It has gotten a lot of rain in the first months. I’m experiencing a lot of water coming through all the seams have yet to seem seal yet cause I haven’t had chance to dry it out for long enough. I have now noticed that the entire top of the inside is beading with water. I’m not sure if it’s leaking or condensation causing it. Has anyone experienced this. You can see on my bed mat all the little drips from it. This consistently happens when it rains. IMG_1944.jpg
