Gunny is currently making sure I'm getting my exercise in this morning .He's making sure that his toys He's playing with this morning go under the refrigerator

So much fun trying to get down onto the Hardwood floor to retrieve his toys . I'll get the toy for him then within a few minutes the toy is back underneath the refrigerator

Good morning. Less than 3 weeks to the Winter Solstice!

It's 26° freedomheits. I had the upstairs at 73° last night and the lower level was almost 90° at one point. Apparently the blower motor for the woodstove was the best $100 that I've spent in a long time.

    20241202_212745.jpg

The plumbing repairs didn't go 100% in my favor, I destroyed a brand new ball valve with the MAPP torch. It's been a while since I sweated any pipes, the relearning curve was steep! I just straight piped the hot side of the feed for the washing machine, just to get the water turned back on last night. I'll get a new valve and finish the mess this morning.

Chuck- use a pool noodle to close off the opening under the fridge. Rugby use to "hide" his springs under there then cry bloody murder when he couldn't reach them, it got old quick! Now he will use the barricade to ricochet the springs when he's playing hockey.

I do miss having the wood stove in the house growing up. It was in our basement, my bed room right above. Balmy 90* all winter long.
