Issues after LCE Pro clutch install and 38 lbs fly wheel. In first gear from takeoff and reverse from take off feels like the clutch is slipping or juttery like when you're not giving me a car enough gas to get going. The rest of the time drives fine. If I put my foot on the clutch pedal feels like the flywheel is vibrating but there's no vibration in the transmission or the shifters however I can feel it in the fork also. I contacted LCE and they said it needs to be broken in. Has anyone else experienced this? Additionally I am certain I installed everything correctly and this is not my first time installing a clutch. I really don't want to take it off but I'm starting to believe that's what I have to do but would like to know what I need to look for.

Did you get a metallic clutch? Has little brass pucks on it rather than full face of material?

You didnt mention what motor... on the 3.4 the disc is installed opposite to what you arre accustomed to, the hat for the torsional spring assembly goes towards the flywheel and not the clutch cover at least for a stock disc, what does LCE say about disc orientation?

It is a 3.4. I am fairly certain I did that way and LCE recommends the same but now I'm questioning whether I did or not.

    It's not a metallic clutch

Then I would check what was mentioned in that other post. Dumb question, but you cleaned the pressure plate and flywheel with brake cleaner before assembling right?

The clutch will not disengage if the clutch plate is installed the wrong way.

Good advice on the direction factor of it not functioning if wrong. I also cleaned the flywheel very well and the clutch disc was in vacuum sealed plastic I did not clean that. I have maybe a hundred miles on it I do believe it's gotten slightly better so I'm wondering if it just takes time for the clutch to burnish and set to the fly a little better

It's the pro clutch not the dual comp

All right so I'm taking the clutch off again. Any reasons why it appears the top is burning?

My first thought is that the transmission was not flush against the block/seperator plate.

I think I didn't get the clutch plate line correctly but I also had that same suspicion so I made sure I cleaned it everything against the engine and the transmission very thoroughly this time.
