I'm planning to swap out the suspension on my 2010 Tacoma 4x4 with shocks, struts, control arms from a 2021 Tacoma OR. I've already got the shocks, struts and upper control arms, but I also need to replace the leaf springs. Looking for recommendations for an economical but solid solution. Should I be looking out for 3rd gen OR take-offs for those too? aftermarket?

If this question has already been done to death, could someone point me to the thread(s)?

    thanks!

I recently bought the shocks, struts, UCA, and leaf springs take-offs from a third gen OR. I'll be installing those at the end of the year. cheapest suspension option I could find.

Just curious if you've done the install yet. How did it go, any complications?

Not yet, I ordered ball joints and am waiting for them to arrive so I can do everything at the same time.

Yes if you can find 3rd gen leafs, get them as well..its pretty striaght forward swap, no issues. They still are crap toyota leafs that will sag again, but will give you that new fresh feeling for a while! I believe the only things that wont fit are the Lower Control Arms from 3rd to 2nd gen...
