Weathertech mats were perfectly fine for me in my ‘17. I’ve got a ‘20 now with the pro mats, and they do the job as well.

I have the huskys in mine. My dad has weathertech's in his vehicle and i checked them before purchasing. I preferred the huskys "feel" as his weathertech's felt too slippery to me for some reason. I'm sure he didn't put anything like a protectant on them either.

I got Weathertech mats and they fit like a glove in my 2022. I have no issues with them at all.

Can't go wrong with either Husky or Weathertech. I have Weathertechs in my Tacoma, been there since Dec 2016 and have been awesome. We had Huskys in Wifey's Subie and now her new VW, and we have been pleased with those as well. Both durable, good fitting on ll three vehicles, and look sharp.

I'm very happy with 3W and can't beat the price!

    https://3wliners.com/products/3w-to...all-weather-custom-fit?variant=43639724408885

I had Weathertech in both of my last two Ram's and the 3W have a much better feel. The weathertech's felt slippery and seemed to scuff up to the point that they end up grey rather than black. Plastic restorer would bring the color back slightly but they would be supper slippery until they scuffed up again. The 3W are more rubbery than plastic and clean up great with just soapy water....

Fyi, the thread was started in the 4th Gen forum. My comments were made there. The mods moved it later to the 3rd gen forum.

My comments answered the original poster accurately. I’m sure he ordered the right mats for his sons truck.

    ^ what he said ^

These are from our friends up North who know a little bit about lots of snow and slush etc. And yeah it's all about the coverage all the up to the door sills.

I have the Toyota accessory weather mats in the Tacoma, but have a set of the Husky's in my GX. Both are pretty good.

Thanks all for the suggestions, I went with the Husky X-act Contour (expensive) but do an excellent for my tundra, the stock Toyota all weather was a bad design because the water/salt would end up under the sill plate just waiting to make a Flintstone Tundra. 20180308_172548.jpg

I had the original OEM all-weather, they have held up great for 6 years now.
I bought a second set from a user here (fronts) just in case, but they never wore through, did not need them.

Don't know if they are the best but they fit better than my old weathertechs.

Working on a lien delete for my title…..

Lots of experience with WeatherTech. Running Husky now and prefer those. As others have said…more pliable, easier to remove etc.

I also use carpet protection tape to get full coverage!

Yes, I use Husky for the same reasons as yours, but the molded ones that have raised sides and back edges. That's what I have in my 2013 Tundra, while my wife's 2023 Tacoma has the Toyota floor liners provided with the TRD Off Road models. These are good enough for the time being, but they aren't molded with raised edges to protect the carpet from dirt (from my boots and so on).

I had the rubber oem Tub mats thrown in when I bought my Taco. Pretty good, but not quite as good as Weathertech's I've had in previous vehicles.

Have always liked the OEM ones that came with the truck. It'll be six years I have had the truck this October and no issues at all.

Skip on OEM. Ones that came with my 2018 are a bitch to clean. Taking the rear mat is a pain as it doesn’t bend too well when trying to get it out.
