I wanted to add something to the retirement conversation..

I've seen it go either way for people. I think you really need to work at keeping yourself busy/active. Traveling and hobbies are good. Getting out of the house is important.

I actually plan on working part time at a bait shop, or something else that is easy, after I retire. Partly to keep myself active, and partly because I'm sure I'll need the money. Aside from that, lots of camping, fishing, kayaking, and hopefully traveling.

 

You should probably order a roof rack, or basket, to attach it to.

And, yes, it's definitely not as convenient as throwing it in the bed or on the tonneau cover. Rock sliders will give you something sturdy to stand on while you tie it down.
