What’s a fair price for this Tacoma?

    2000 Tacoma extended cab
    Automatic
    366k miles
    2.7L I4
    4x4
    1 owner
    No accidents on carfax
15 service history records on carfax, all oil changes except for ac / heater work at 233k
    No rust on frame
Interior is clean and good shape except for torn seats

Runs good, there is a squeal when you start it, 4hi and 4low engage smooth, ac and heat work, radio works. Looks like it has or had an oil leak you can see in the picture, I’ve had the truck for several days and kept cardboard underneath but nothing has dripped or gone down on the dip stick.IMG_6001.jpg IMG_6003.jpg IMG_5995.jpg

    Thanks!

If you've "had the truck for several days" why are you asking about a "fair price?"

Truck has been left in my possession for a little while but the owner plans to sell.

Best advice, visit Craigslist or FB market and adjust your price accordingly to repairs needed.

Location plays a price factor but the ballpark would be $4-6k is my guess. 3RZ auto is not a highly sought after setup.

Thanks! Yeah I’ve looked online but haven’t seen any for sale with similar mileage. Carfax listed it at $3950 private sale but I didn’t know how accurate that was.

Be careful, as this is very close to a for sale/feeler post. Could get moderator attention. Just double check the BST rules so you don't get in trouble.

I apologize now that I read the rules I do believe this post is in the wrong place.

It's worth what you can get for it. Not a good answer but it's the correct one. Some people will pay mad money for these, just depends on your location. But with those miles and an auto transmission I wouldn't pay over $6K.

3RZ is dandy but not with an auto. Yuck.

Practically a part-out truck, though I don't fully agree with the 3RZ hate

I don't know if it's exactly 3rz hate, but rather auto trans hate, which I'm all for
