Been getting jerked around or dead air from a lot of people on marketplace, wondering if any of you would be interested in helping me. Much appreciated

Search for "tacoma sill plate" and you'll find 'em for $70-$80.

$70-$80 is kinda nutso for a plastic part. I found one on ebay for $104 definitely a last resort.

I did look through the 1st gen fs forum the $500 thread has the part I need I pm'd the guy a while ago with no response and dont have enough messages yet to leave a post on the thread.

Go to the junkyard you’ll find one and it’ll cost <$2. I just gave a bunch of interior trim parts away a few months ago or I would’ve hooked you up!

20 of that will be shipping. Those break easily too. I wish someone mass produced a metal alternative

Finally found a 1st gen Tacoma in a junkyard close-ish to me, about 7 hours away :annoyed:. Plan on checking it out this weekend, and running some other errands to make the trip worth it. I'm surprised how few I could find. I guess that is a testament to how reliable and sought after they are.

Made it to the junkyard and got lucky with them having 3 tacomas of the right year. Unfortunately they were probably the most stripped down cars on the lot. Did not find myself a scuff plate, but harvested some other bits. Pulled one of these puppies that I will be upgrading with.

Also found this delicious juice someone left. Wish I knew the brand
