Dave, I'm planning on going to Alaska in June as well. We might be able to link up somewhere

 

Final plans won't be done 'til December. We need to reserve a campsite at Denalia Nat'l Park and December 1st is the earliest that we can reservations. I'll have to see what will be available.

 

geez I feel like I need to goto Alaska next year too if everyone else is going. next year will be 5 since I originally planned on going so seems fitting

June trip finally lands on the weekend after her birthday

Still a no go for KenTWucky as the boy will be here in Feb.

I'm definitely interested in a Wisconsin River trip as previously discussed but would probably just be myself and some fishing rods

 

I must of missed something. What is this Wisconsin River trip you speak of?

At a couple of the auto shows a kayak/canoe trip was thrown out there ( I might have had a part in it since my Dayton rep does an annual Wisconsin river trip that includes camping on sandbars)

Now I remember James talking about it. I mentioned that I did once in canoes. Spent 2 nights camping on islands.

 

I forgot that @Camerasandcoffee brought this up a few days ago.

This would definitely be something different for us, but could be a ton of fun!

 

With a big enough snorkel, you won't even have to buy a boat to join in!

Isn’t Overlanding just camping, but with a 4Runner or Subaru Outback and higher end equipment from REI?

 

I'll try to figure it out sooner than later. If Saturday's plans fall through, I'll definitely go. I should hopefully know by Thursday.
