I came in the shop this morning and there is water all around the mill. There's a carpet cleaning business next door. I went out back and water is running out of their door and all through the back lot. I called the guy cause he doesn't come in until 8, he said oh no I must have left the water on.

He's here now with a squeegee cleaning our side and going to put a dehumidifier in shortly.

I need to do some welding but don't really want to be standing in water doing it

 

Anyone else have a double brewed pot of coffee this morning cause the 1st pot was clear, or is that just me?

 

Power has been off and on a few times. Just woke up to it being off again.

 

I ''might'' have forgotten to put the filter in before I added grounds and started the pot last week................ In my defense, I was running off the inverter I installed in my vehicle, in the middle of nowhere, and dark. But it still sucked because I had to use my precious water to clean the dang mess up and start another pot. And then the excruciating wait, the horrible, horrible wait until ready for the caffeine infusion.

 

First cup today was nuked from last nights batch. Shoulda put it through old Sox to make it taste more like the Work stuff.
Last full day of wired toes.

 

Friend of mine forgot to put the pot under theirs not long ago. That was a huge mess

This is after they pushed it out. They got two fans running and now sucking it up with the carpet cleaning machine.

 

So a free floor cleaning service. SWEET!!!!!

Just look at it as a ''free'' $249.95 floor cleaning service and extra coffee break.

 

I'm guessing it was out for several hours before I woke up. The thermostat is set at 69, but the temp inside was 60. They got it back on about 5 minutes ago. We'll see how long it holds. I'm curious what happened. It seems pretty localized to just a few houses on my block. No storms of any kind here. Maybe a critter got in the box?

 

That is odd. Did you see power company trucks in the area?

 

They are about 1/4 mile away at one of the above ground boxes

I remember coming in early and they didn’t have anymore filters for the coffee. Said I’ll go to the store real quick and get some. Just one other guy there at the time. Go pick some up and get back and there’s a few more people there and they are all drinking coffee. The one guy pulled the old filter out of the trash and rinsed it out in the sink and reused it.
