Want/Need ? LOL I need a spare CV for my long travel. These are way stronger than the OEM ones. A Single spare OEM is $607. These would be way less likly to break and if they did they are easy to repair with a shaft only costing $114. I could also sell my current ones for say $1k only really costing me about $500 or so less than one spare. HMM

$500 doesn't sound too bad if it's that big of an upgrade with cheaper rebuild parts. So if you sell the ones you have now, were does the spare one come from? I assume they sell those things in pairs? I saw the pic, but didn't read the description.

Wayy less likly to break first of all but i would by a shaft which is most always the piec that breaks.

    https://lowrangeoffroad.com/replace...tacoma-4runner-fj-cruiser-ifs-axles-2-00.html

OEM inner and outer with +2 shafts are crazy expensive.

Ah, so you'd have an extra of the mostly likely part to break, not a complete CV. So for roughly $500....you get way better CV's and an extra shaft? Seems like a pretty decent deal to me..........not knowing shit about CV stuffs

correct or i could spend about $650 and buy a complete OEM axle with extended shaft. The axle shaft for OEM i posted was for 2 axle shafts. I have a spare OEM standard length oem axle that i would turn into a extended with the OEM axle shafts i posted.

I get that, I was going on the fact you'd sell the ones you have now.

Ah, I didn't look too much into it. I just remember running across a thread years ago. I have a buddy in TN that has his SXS registered and can drive it on the streets(no interstate I think). I think one would be cool to ride the few miles to/from work
