Is that power steering line cracked?

I don’t think so. Didn’t see any ATF spilling out. Maybe it got a little dented idk.

 

Well it’s just weird how I don’t see any gear oil spilling out.

New trans, driveshaft and gas tank and shes good to go

 

And basically new at this point

 

There's not supposed to be gear oil in the bell housing part. You'd have one very slippery clutch if that were the case

 

Yea I could even drive it in fwd while I get the driveshaft figured out. Maybe a bit of exhaust work too which is no big deal.

 

@Ozark_RegCab I know you feel you're way too deep into this truck, but seriously after this almost everything will be new lmao

I guess I might as well get a new clutch and RMS while the gearbox is out.

 

wait you can’t get the bell housing separate if the gears are still good right?

I think you just need a new bell housing

 

Just don't get one for anything but an R150F for a Tacoma.

 

Yea although I could get a used trans for 500 which isn’t much more than the bell housing he posted.

 

Actually, James 3.0 (faster, smarter, stronger) offered up his gas tank as he's got extra stuff from his part outs.

 

Yes it would be cool to get an r151 with the lower first gear but idk if it’d work
