Sounds frustrating! Checked out the installation video. Didn't appear to be a lot of wiggle room.
I bought the truxedo truxsport. Never have had any issues. Jam plumbers putty between front bedrail and siderails to keep water out easily removable unlike caulk. I also looked at the gators but they weren't available for my truck. I think there is a vendor here who would help you. I think it's Real Truck. @Jim727386

 

Installed the Icon Impact bumper with a Badlands 12k ZXR. Also swapped out the factory grill with the pro V2 from yotaverse.

Audiofrog GB 25 installed on dashboard last night using abs custom brackets shaped with and old fashion grinder and hole saw to fit the speakers.
these tiny 2.5 inch midranges handle some good power without much effort and the sound reproduction is very detailed quie a great SQ result here!
Coming from using 3.5 inch Morel and 3.5 Audison Voce previously these speakers are way above the previously mentioned in terms of clarity and sound reproduction! Proper tuning should improve the response of these Audiofrogs even further!

 

Thanks for the input. I have looked the Real Truck Truxedo. Watched the install video of that. Straightforward. Different system plus it’s said to be made in USA. I may go that way.

 

Installed ARK splashguards after my stock liner tore off. Super easy to install and build quality of these seems pretty good. Hopefully they hold up over time.

 

I've installed 3 toll ups in the past 4 years, a Gator, a Tyger, and a Truxedo Low Pro. The Truxedo was by far the easiest to install but it is pricey. I was lucky enough to come across a screaming deal on a returned one on Amazon 2 years ago that put it around the same price as an Amazon special.

 

I was planning on waiting initially but took that quick pic last night. Here are a couple from this morning.

 

Apparently I’ve promised to buy her a new part…. And this boys and girls is why we install under body protection. Or finally cement the rest of the driveway. Either way, I’m an idiot and sometimes that’s costly.
