I believe the milk is UHT, ultra high temp treatment. We used to buy it by the case lot for our remote fly in bush camps where refrigeration is limited.

There's a lot of these that are just ingredients, and some brief hand written notes. Also, I can't pull off taking pictures of all/a lot of these on my own, without my wife being suspicious as to why the hell I'm making some of these things

I would love some input too on "Wow, they used THAT!? No, it's 2024, that causes lupus, we now use THIS" if you do the recipes, feedback on "Temps way too low, bump it up" etc.

Popovers (I might be able to get to these, but I don't have a pan)

Bolognese/marinara sauce - This one I will specifically ask if someone is willing to do it in an enameled cast iron pan/fancy pot for the insta credit here. I can make this easily, but this one is a photo op/art project, more than making the recipe.

Whoopie Pies

Pineapple Upside Down Cake

Brownies (might be able to get to these on my own)

Chocolate oatmeal cookies

a lot of these are names but can have vastly different recipes and meanings for the dish. What you call popovers are similar to what we call Yorkies or Yorkshire puddings. Did your bolognaise have meat?

I'm willing to do some of these, including the bolognaise but need some guidance from Grandma's recipes.

2026? That’s two years from now. Typo?

I can/will help with any/all that don’t have bread or gluten filled ingredients. As @DuffyBank mentioned, might be good to get the OG recipes so they can be matched as closely as possible.

I can start with chicken wings 3 ways - fried, oven baked, and grilled. I know it’s some legwork on your end, but assigning recipes (with permission) might be best. The age old, “Someone call the police!” - either everyone around does the same task or nobody does.

You could also start a Google Sheet with every item, assignee, date completed, and a link to a photo repository.

Cool project, just throwing out some ideas!

Id guess you would send a copy of the recipe? Otherwise its just a stab at what the original recipe was.

It wasn’t that brand but wife brought some home. I had to use it in “blends” to get rid of it. I’d say bad decisions. It is Friday the 13th after all…
