    I hate this crap.
Was supposed to be in Fall River for 7, got here at almost 8, and, I'll probably be out of here in an hour or so, because they made a change to the plan without calling me.

Keep losing power at the house, and I'm pretty sure something landed on the roof around 0100, Tiff was freaking out, and wanted me to check it out(nothing came THROUGH the roof, so, whatever), I'll figure that out when I get home.

We got a little over an inch here in Bellingham. I've almost forgotten what falling snow looked like.

A little wet snow on the shoreline but no accumulation. Just rain and the sun was peeking

It's basically a couple tacks and move, couple tacks and move. Then let it cool and go back to it

Clearly this isn't perfect but on a bobbed, boat sided, comp cut wheeler it doesn't have to be

I'm at Toyota. They have 2 landcruisers here. I think I like them. I'd still prefer a simpler powertrain though

Saturday I am replacing all my rear brake hard lines and maybe woolwaxing the front half of my truck. Sunday I'm helping a friend get his roofrack, rtt, and awning on his GX470. Was supposed to be just a bolt on kit but its stupidly designed...

Got new tires on yesterday. Didnt get a picture

I get that tire shops do that all the time but I can't think of something that sketches me out more. If I saw my truck like that I'd never go back.

Yeah... I didnt have much better option.

You know what's better than 1 hydraulic jack keeping your truck up... 3, that are stored outside.

Recovery. It's been 2 weeks of non-stop shenanigans for some reason or another.

Slow cooking some chili sounds pretty good.

If there were jack stands under there as back up, I'd be a-okay with it. That's what I do when I do work and don't need the jack "again" once it's holding something. Leave it on the jack, but have stands under it just in case.

That's like going to my tire guy  (Honest moment - my "tire guy" the last time was Town Fair Tire.... I do have a tire guy, but they were open and next to me, so I just dropped my wheel off and told them whenever they get to it, yee haw)

If I'm changing a single tire, I'll jack it up, flip the tire and drop the jack, sure. This is an actual shop balancing the trucks on jacks sans-stands for an extended period of time...nope. I agree if there's stands, fine. When I saw the thumbnail I assumed it was sitting on a QuickJack. I just see the opportunity for the truck to end up on its side from that photo.

3 points of contact, good enough for me on a ladder for OSHA, good enough for a truck on jack stands.

I went to F1 Acrade in the Seaport yesterday for my work's holiday party to play with their simulators. We had unlimited runs for three hours so I did the anti-social thing and just stayed on the sims for nearly the whole time. It was fun, but certainly not three races for $29 fun. The seat movement was nifty but a Logitech G920 and Forza gets you 95% of the way there. The races were short and at $10/per plus having to deal with getting into the Seaport? Forget it. Save your money and go actual karting.

Jack stands change the calculus, certainly.

They look nice. I wish they offered one with a non hybrid drivetrain.

Yeah but Toyotas been making hybrids for over 20 years. They're not new to it.
