Deer hunting BS thread

We’ll count it up a little later, gonna have to take a shoe off to count that high

 

So, I pulled camera cards on Wednesday and had several pictures of him, he’d been on me and my neighbor that I lease all year but I had never seen him.
I walked in to my blind at 12:15 yesterday and I jumped 3 doe’s not too far from my blind. At 3:25 I spotted him 75 yards away just standing there and I have no idea where he came from. He needed to take about 4 more steps and he would have been in my shooting lane, but he decided to bed down instead. All I could see was his nose and part of his rack and his ass thanks to some brush and trees.
He finally stood up 25 minutes later and I thought he was going to walk across in front of me but he started to turn away from me. I rushed my shot a little bit and spined him and he went straight down. He was still alive but couldn’t get up so I walked over and finished him off. Besides the 3 doe’s I seen earlier he was the only other deer I seen.

 

Going to get some better pics in a while, will post them later. I need to cape out and get to the taxidermist.

i stayed until i couldnt move, fell outta my stand and



back to my jeep, all that exercise warmed me up a bit....

What a Brute! So what's the story your property, leased land? Thats my goal is to acquire some whitetail property and have some food plots and what not.

 

If you count all those little 'points' on the brow tines, you are in the hundreds (if not thousands) using the TW scoring method.

I just sat at the deck and didn’t see any deer, walked back to the shop and there’s a huge doe standing in front of it where I can’t shoot

 

North Carolina has got some good ones too!!
