    If it makes you feel better, RAM from a workstation like that was probably ECC Ram instead of normal DDR4, and more than likely your motherboard wouldn't have supported it.

    No they were DDR4. They were used for neural networking, machine learning and AI processing. Always jokes I was building skynet. Crazy little things. I built some prototypes that had a chip in them that cost $60k. Can't begin to imagine what they were using that for. Also a lot of pressure to solder that part perfectly...

    nah but I might just have him install a new transmission and gas tank. The flight and gas for the drive back are around $500, so as long as the labor is less than $700 or so, it’s a wash vs getting it shipped out.

    Convinced my parents a couple years ago to finally get a fake tree. I liked the real tree as a kid but mostly now I just care about the smell and the ease of setup when I go to visit. So we just get one of those nice wreaths from Costco for the smell.

    Yeah I don't have much care either way and would be fine with a fake tree, but Rebecca is a Christmas tree connoisseur and the notion of a fake tree is sacrilege

    The smell is a definite plus to a real one so the wreath is a good idea

    @6P4

    I'll be using that set sooner than I thought :laughing:

    Wife's crankshaft position sensor went out on her car so I just got one ordered up and will replace it Monday possibly.

    Apparently the whole "extension as a handle" has been a thing implemented by Facom for decades going back to the old tin can type tool boxes.

    The only thing about our kits that isn't Facom specific is the ratchet itself as Facom moved production from France to Italy for specifics (like torx drivers, screw drivers, ratchets and more). But all other items like the sockets, locking extensions, and many other various items all got outsourced to Taiwan with Facom still overseeing its manufacturing.

    Just some interesting info I learned that I thought I'd share (though I'm sure you knew that)!

    Lol mine either except for the roof I had resprayed. I do put the tree on the rack that's on the shell though, so that's something.
