Neat, I was actually wondering about that. I had noticed that the ratchet looked different from the Facom-branded set.

I'm pretty bummed now that I missed the 3/8 deep socket sets on closeout. I keep checking to see if they come back in stock but no luck yet.

They're still available some other places (ACE, Amazon) but still at MSRP.

    Shoot, you did mention that.

Least you got a bunch of other stuff.

Regarding the ratchet, it's Stanley's own that they sell with other sets (and even individually) which doesn't bother me...I can't think of anyone that doesn't have at least 2-3 ratchets in each size.

The handle is a nice welcome though, but the locking extensions are probably my favorite. Think I'll be going to this kit JUST for the locking extensions.

Would it be OK to drive the Tacoma in front wheel drive all the way from Rapid City to Moscow? The mechanic seem to think the transfer case or front for whatever would overheat or give out somehow going up and down those passes.

We went fake last year. It even comes with a real tree fake smell. I was amazed Monica went for a fake tree.

Yeah it’s hard to get a straight answer on that from searching old threads. I mean in theory the four-wheel-drive components upfront on the Tacoma should be more robust than whatever is in a Camry or other front wheel drive car. But at the same time technically it’s not designed to be front wheel Drive obviously.

I mean it would be fine I'm sure, but you still need a trans and gas tank, $600 more for an OEM driveshaft and it's a non issue.

I’d be curious if you could find another OEM drive shaft at that price. When I went through this before a lot of people swore to me that they were NLA. I ended up getting a lead on one through the JoJo guy on the Facebook page but he quoted me $1100 before shipping. The reason I was thinking about driving it and front wheel drive over to Idaho was because of Zane Drive staff guy that apparently does really good work for pretty cheap.

All my other extensions are the regular type and I can't count how many times a socket has fallen off cause it got caught on something

I keep hearing that name in your group, but then I hear about some bad experiences with him

He sure has a small cult following though, but those same people seem to be brain dead and quickly suggest replacing a head gasket all cause a temp gauge on their dash says it's a little warm

Call Wilson's Drive Shaft here in Albuquerque. They got it for me no drama. See if they can find one for you. Sadly I don't think they open until Monday. But that's where I got mine like 2 months ago.
