    08 Toyota Tacoma 4.0
    My 2008 Toyota Tacoma 4.0. V6. It came with Bosch R6 double platinum 8122 spark plugs. Only changed at about 200,000 miles.

    Those didn't come in it from the factory.
    They come with 2 different brand plugs from the factory.

    Are you saying you changed them 200k miles ago?
    If so, 200k on a set of plugs is GREAT......but that's a long time between changes.

    I would switch them to ngk iridium oem style plugs.

    Iridium was not the OEM plug.
    The 4.0 came with old school copper core plugs.

    And some people have been known to have them last well over 100k miles.
    You shouldn't wait that long. So if you want to wait longer. Iridium is ok.
    But there have been a few reports of these trucks not liking iridium plugs.

    Welcome :hattip:I second @jackpro2 on the plug type. I highly recommend sticking with OEM parts, such as NGK, ASIN, and Denso consistently; it’s a lot less headache and you remove uncertainty when it comes to reliability of parts.
