I kinda want to see this magical chair. Is this some spaceage, zero gravity, no pressure point, butt massaging extasy that the rest of us are not privileged to be aware of?

Just about as good as always.

The first ten minutes after I get up I always move like all my joints rusted up.

Can relate. This last month or so was sheer hell. Worked crazy hours all my life so never did have a sleep pattern. Best sleep is paid sleep imho. :bored:

a less than desirable day for my mom.

she was running some errands through the main shopping area. she said the light turned green, she started to go, looked down at the radio or the hvac controls, and BAM. the other two cars in front of her didn't go on green. and a 6,000 pound suburban doesn't stop easy compared to the newer tiny SUV's. she oreo'd the vehicle in front of her into the vehicle at the front of the line. the suburban's airbags went off, radiator punctured, looks like front frame is tweaked. so we're expecting it's totaled. unfortunate, but they were looking at replacing it this coming spring, so the timings not entirely off. they've had that suburban since around 2003, something close to 280k miles. it's ran it's course.

my mom is of course shaken up over all of it, but unharmed.

so my tacoma went to her for the time being until insurance sorts everything out instead of playing the rental vehicle game, and i'm down to driving the sports car for a while in the winter.

after all the excitement with the siblings text chain over the accident, and cleaning out my stuff from the truck so she can take it, i did the same thing. they left my house at 1:00, laid down on the couch to do some christmas shopping, next thing i remember was the dog begging for his dinner at 5:00.
