Any suggestions for quieting squeaky lower control arms (OEM). Something that penetrates (not WD-40) and won't wash out, and no I don't want to take them apart and grease them.

If oem LCAs are squeaking chance they are most likely done, if the bushing is creaking it is most likely ripped, and if it’s the ball joint it will need grease to make it quiet, and if it’s making noise it probably has a ripped boot and play in the ball joint

They're not that old, pretty certain it's coming from the bushing, not the ball joint. Uppers are SPC and get greased every oil change.

What about lower shock mount? My ADS squeak like crazy. If you can push up/down on bumper and duplicate noise. Loosen bolt and try again.

I saw it, lot of people will say oem if they are stock replacements with cheap crap.

I'll check that out, running Fox 2.5's with the heim style lower joint.

Its probably the spherical lower mounts in the fox 2.5. Did you replace the lower bolts with 4runner ones? You should for spherical bottom mounts.

You can pick up a mechanics stethoscope and have a buddy push up and down on the bumper and listen around to help narrow it down.

Otherwise, pull the camber/caster bolts and anti-seize them. But oem lower control arms dont really squeek unless something is going out. Now if you had poly bushings then that would be a different story.

Spherical would be a better way to describe them. Running the stock bolts which haven't caused any issues for the almost 8 years and 125k miles I've had them on the truck. Don't see how the 4Runner bolts would functionally be any different.

Need to crawl under it today and take a closer look at everything.

There are some threads on it. 4runner bolts have the same diameter shaft all the way through. Tacoma has a step down shaft that doesn't play well with those types of mounts.
