Last year the day I got my snow tires at Costco, Appointment was on a Saturday & no customer waiting area so I thought I’d venture into the store. Know a guy who works there. He said that day his staff went out to get carts but there was none to be found. Seems all 790 were milling around somewhere in the store. Felt like climbing inside my 4 tires til they got installed. Safest place to be.

 

The storage unit (10x30) is working well for swapping the Tacoma & Tundra. It's just a few miles away. Plenty of room between the buildings to easily back the Tundra in without doing a 15 point turn. Tacoma is a breeze. And the door is wide enough to back into without folding the mirrors in. Opening the door triggers the light to come on (it's an adjustable timer), so that's nice during these darker months. They said they treat for critters on a regular basis. Back on 11/25, I set 4 mouse traps and they haven't been touched. It's a well run and clean facility. Tundra has been there since Thursday and I'll swap tomorrow afternoon for the work week. I'm taking Christma and New Year's weeks off, so not sure if I'll keep the Tundra in there for 2 full weeks....we'll see.

Yep, snow. First real measurable amount this year.

 

I got the roof rake out yesterday, help lessen the ice buildup, take advantage of this warm up

 

People don’t know the difference between,Exit and Entrance, You Tube ain’t gonna help those folks

 

I'll do the same before a warmup. Just up a couple of feet to clear everything so the gutters can do their thing.

 

This isn’t enough to worry about, I may just leave it. It’s gonna be 50° on Tuesday..

 

We're getting the same thing here. They just effing plowed with 1/2" on the ground. Gonna be 42 today and warmer Tue/Wed.

 

Love it when the town plow is out and the road is bare, just scraping the tar…why?

Meanwhile here PennDot puts a little salt on the roads covered with 8" of powder and says "good luck everybody!"
