Anyone else get out to the death ribbon at Mt Rose today? It was a shit show early then pretty fun once the early first run people cleared out.

It’s best to let the “now open” excitement wear off, or be very aware. Already took someone off the mountain with a season ending injury on day 1. For whatever reason most people go way to hard way too early.

People break themselves every day at ski resorts regardless of if it's opening day, closing day, or any day in between. Life is short and I'd rather not live with regrets of missing out on creating family traditions due to fear. I'm of the opinion that sitting on my couch at home has more risk for regrets than going skiing for a few runs with my kids on opening day or opening weekend.

That said, I don't expect to get back out before more terrain is opened.

Hello I’m new to this page! I was wondering if anyone in Reno knows where I can install a brand new headlight and a grill that needs splicing? I don’t have the confidence in myself to do it.

We were out last weekend. A bit of snow in the shade and somewhat icy but it should be warmer tomorrow than when we went. There were a lot of people out cutting trees and quite a few of them were in vehicles that shouldn't have been out there.

Appreciate it. Takin the family up to the quartz hill or Verdi peak to kill some time while they’re in town. Told me they booked Thursday - Monday for my graduation then they realized most of the things I do are not things they will do. Let’s see if they regret goin for a drive lol  they’re as far from adventurous as you can get
