Ok check that you have a ground on Pin 6 (Red) when the diff lock switch is depressed.

There isn't a wire in cavity 6 on that connector. There is a red wire in cavity 6 on the connector that feeds the overhead console and I do NOT have ground. Is the diff lock switch supposed to be momentary?

I was referring to the overhead console connector, it appears the switch is momentary. It should ground Pin 6 (Red) when the diff lock switch is held down.

Yeah I had no ground at that pin at anytime, depressed or not. Also the black/white wire i back probed for ground first was not on that connector. I checked it on the connector that stays plugged in on the console

The White/Black wire at Pin 12 of the overhead console connector should have Ground at all times.

On connector IN1 or IN2 what pin should be ground feeding the switches? I can atleast back track a little before I tear my whole dash apart. Any further and I'll let the dealer figure it out. My days of being a toyota tech are done lol

At Connector IN1 the Ground would be Pin 1 (White/Black).

But no ground at Pin 12 of the overhead console connector?

Yes I had ground at pin 12 but I didn't have ground at pin6 (red on main console connector) when diff lock switch is depressed. It's not likely a bad switch because when depressed it works the dome lights lol

If that's the case it would seem something is wrong in the overhead console.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too. Probably a short to power in the circuit board.

Not sure how hard it is to get apart but it may be worth taking it apart and investigating.

It's plastic welded in like 6 places. If I take it apart I doubt toyota will warranty it if I take it in.

Yea that would be best if you still have warranty on it.

Dealership swapped out the overhead console from another truck and that one worked so they ordered me a new overhead console.
