    Morning, Wrench folk! Last week of working for Fastenal after nearly 9 years. It would have been 9 years next May. I'm moving to a manufacturing job with MUCH better pay, but it means I start on 3rd shift. So, after this week, you probably won't see me around much...if at all.

    Also, congrats on being 13 years sober, Creed!

    I too had to start out on graveyard shift to get in where I'm at. Took about 5 years to get to daylight.

    Biggest thing I can recommend is light blocking shades and curtains combined to make you room dark. Also get like an air purifier that makes noise to cover up the usual daytime noises.

    Congrats Rahl 3rd shift is tough when you live with close neighbors. When I did it I ended up putting a sign on my front door that said owner works nights knock on the door and feel the wrath basically because I had neighbors all the time knocking...

    When I worked 3rd I had a neighbor that liked to mow his grass like 3 times a week. That was not ideal at all. Glad I moved away from that guy; he had all his camera's pointed towards my house like I was some criminal :der:

    He was in the Coast Guard so he is a little messed up in the head from that. He's also assistant fire chief in that town.
