I've done the ferry between Cape May, NJ and Lewes, DE a couple of times. Granted that's only about a 90 minute trip across a bay. Bikes load and unload first on that as well. Bikes are to park on their side stand, in gear, and they place a rather large wooded chock at the front tire. No issues on any of those trips and the water was rough on one of the passages. Kind of fun to do though.

Haha, yeah. Nope! That was before the digital age and at that point I may have had on old Kodak C126 film camera from 1975. It sucks, because I would love to have pics from all the racing I did.

Oh yeah, this ferry is like an 11 minute cruising time. I think the longest one in WA is like 40 mins?

My most common ferry is Anacortes - Guemes island. It's about 25 cars, 5 minute crossing  During the summer though it can have a several hour lineup.

Bremerton is an hour. I knew a guy that rode his gold wing every day. He had a strap with a giant magnet he'd stick to the ground to keep the bike secure in rough weather. The big ferries can fit almost 400 cars, they're massive, but the sound can get pretty nasty.

Got into the garage for a couple hours today, the 701 got a new noco li-ion battery (easily half the weight), the KTM offroad abs dongle (defaults to rear ABS off front on at startup now), and put in the rottweiler bag intake area bag. Loads of hidden storage now!

    After:

(yes the zip ties got cut down, safely with flush cuts)

Got the 2014 FJR1300 out for a bit this afternoon, temps in the low 50's. Turned 75k miles on the way home. Treated it to an oil and filter change then parked it and got the 2013 FJR1300 out for the next few weeks.

Had a nice birthday ride today. Did 34 miles before 1 and went home to the kids and wife where i got some fresh cookies.

It was nice. Had the place to myself from 730 till 10. Played on the mx track and dialed some suspension settings then played in the woods.

Happy birthday! It’s my wife’s birthday today, too, so I was on kid duty all day while she’s been baking cookies

Gonna want to hit the car wash after that ride.

Hope everyone is doing well. After a week in the teens, we hit 55 and sunny yesterday. Even though it was my birthday too (Happy Belated @Sacrifice! ) We were too busy putting the house back together after getting floors done last week. No ride for me. Missing bike time something fierce right now.

Lots of birthdays hope all enjoyed!

Yesterday was nice here... wife went to see a friend so I spent the day riding put 200 miles on the SDR. Cruising through Amish country is fun dodging buggies and horse shit lol. Also speaking of oil changes both my bikes are due need to get around to that soon.

I pretty much only check in here and on the stock thread, unless I'm addressing something specific on the truck.

House is good. The new floors ($$$) really change things up and make it seem roomier and much cleaner.
