Been trying to burn that slash pile on my property. Its slow going. When it was super dry i could have burned the whole area but it rained ... i tried lighting it with diesel to no avail. Been dry this past week so i got some more to burn. But still needs lots more

Will, go to Walmart and buy sterno, get a metal spoon and lite it and scoop it out and fling into your start piles it will burn. Don’t use a plastic spoon in a pinch that don’t work

Burnt motor oil works as a good starter as well. Don't ask me how I know :anonymous:

Cause he's wanted in 3 states for poaching.

Just kidding, not sure if he wanted me putting his face on the internet. He's a very humble guy and I had to ask him if he's killed anything this year to get the pic from him

I was gonna say that old hydraulic fluid is what we use on my farm when we need to burn a wet pile :anonymous:

you can get buckets of that shit from just about anywhere. We get ours from a fracking sand plant up the road

I have maybe 1 gallon. I breifly thought bout it...but didnt this time.

Part of it is the piles are just pushed over. So lots air gaps. I piled some smaller stuff teepee style and it took off. Some did burn but it rained last night so wont be able to do much for a bit. And weather looks sketchy next 10 days
