I would love some aftermarket UCA's.
Something tells me I don't want to go through all the work of installing them, though, for R.C.

Edit: Someone with more experience can chime in....
An arm is an arm. I mean, it's kinda tough to screw up a pc of metal. In this case, aluminum.

The ball joints are what I always hear about failing on UCA's. Not the arms.
So if the ball joints are half ass decent then R.C. UCA's, in theory, should work just fine?

Oh there will be some mods all right
I will be 100% honest with you, I didn't install them for two reasons. First reason was that my truck actually seemed to drive fine and I didn't have any rubbing so I didn't even get an alignment or mess with upper control arms. And two, knowing rough country's reputation, I chickened out. They seem pretty solid but I was afraid of having to change the ball joints semi frequently or maybe even the bushings going bad. Most of the fellas in here don't mind wrenching on their vehicles and or even look forward to it but I can't stand working on vehicles, it is just a necessary part of modding so the less wrenching I do the better and I figured I didn't want to have to take the chance to go back in. I know that wasn't the best way to sell you on them lol but I believe in honesty.

I don't mind wrenching the 1st time around, but like you said....I'd rather not be back in there every 'X' amount of miles refurbishing bushings and balljoints.

RC UCAs aren't terrible. Since you're not building a Baja truck or a true crawler, they should be fine.

    Racecar parts...

This is why I don't recommend uni-balls for anyone living in salt country.

If I knew there were better bushings and ubj's to use with them, I would snag them up and swap them out, but I don't.

@LarryDangerfield better just put them on marketplace.
I see Rough Country decals in back windows around E.C.
    Someone will eat those up.

Uni balls require love... thats all. And a garage. And stored all winter. And love. Easy to change though-can do it with the arms on the truck. Takes about 1/2 hour per side. Special tool though. Love.

Sounds easy enough. On the other hand, the ball joints on my upper control arms have been getting along fine with a squirt of Grease now and again for the last 90,000 plus miles.

Since I kind of got chastised by the Tom Woods guy I am turning over a new leaf. Grease every spare moment. Tri flow on my uni balls every wash. By the way, uni balls really like tri flow! Just need to remember all the other places that have grease ports...

I'm most likely heading back to Merrill around xmas time.
If you still have them then, maybe we can meet up and I'll take them off your hands.
    I'd try MP 1st. :D

I don't think there is anything in the code of conduct about greasing your balls so I think you guys are fine
