2019 Tacoma TRD Offroad

If i get -12 mm offsewt wheel can i fit 33x12.50s on the truck or what is the biggest size i can fit stock? id rather not lift it.

Do you mean 35x12.5?

Either way, this thread details the sort of things you might need to do to fit tires that big. Tire diameter, tire width, and wheel specs affect clearance. Lift does not, unless you go the drop bracket route.

No sir. I wanna put 33s on the truck that are 12.5" wide. ill go 11.50s if i have to. Im sure someones tried it before

 

The only 33" tire you can reliably fit stock is a 255/85r16, or a 33"x10". That's with the OEM offroad wheels and their +25mm offset.

A lift does nothing to improve your ability to clear bigger tires, as counterintuitive as that sounds. You only change the ride height with a lift, which could help minimize rubbing during normal, smooth, flat road driving, but if you cycle your suspension at all, like during offroading or driving over the curb at the mall parking lot, you will still rub as bad as a truck with no lift.

Width is the enemy for rubbing, which you are doubling down on with 12.5" wide tires and with -12mm offset.

The thread that @gudujarlson linked tells you all about fitting bigger tires, even if it is geared towards 35's. Much of the same applies for wide 33's, minus maybe the fender arch trimming.

 

We have the same truck. Same year, same trim, same color, and most importantly the same transmission. Are you the identical twin my mother never told me about?

 

We might be. They didn't even do a good job of separating us at birth if you're around the Twin Cities, I'm in the Duluth area.

 

I'm assuming your tires are 305/70R16? You might inquire about those tires instead, as not many tire manufacturers (if any) still make 33x12.5R16s, and although they are pretty much the same size, people may not know they are the same, or be hesitant to share their experience with the 305s, not wanting to give you bad info, as they may be slightly different.
