As a kid I never could figure out why my dad never had a problem being up so early.

Now that I've gotten a little older I know, it's cause he couldn't sleep

 

What is the weather conditions there this morning?

 

Tiny bit of blowing snow but at least the rain stopped before the temperature dropped so the roads aren't slippery.

 

Part of a weather advisory I just got:
* IMPACTS...Snow will change over to a period of freezing rain and freezing drizzle. It is recommended not to plow your driveway and walkways until the storm has ended.

I can’t recall seeing this recommendation before…. I hate ice.

 

Yea snow is fine, ice, no Bueno

 

Yeah, ice is awful.

 

I prefer fresh untouched snow covered roads. No slush to really slip on. Penn Dot seems to keep me happy with this

 

Yeah, it's a union shop so it will be awhile. Supposed to be a really good company to work for though.

Definitely going to do the light blocking shades. I've been thinking about getting a sleep mask with bluetooth headphones for white noise.

Fortunately for me, I am separated by most of an acre from my neighbors, plus the wife will be home to deal with people at the door.

I was in manufacturing for a decade before getting on at Fastenal. I'm currently breaking in my new steel toed boots. I've been too long out of them and my feetsies are not happy with me.

 

This was a fun hot job. Bore was worn as well as the dowel pins and holes. Ready to roll.....out the door.

 

Was that for the cabbage machine you work on for the chinese restaurant?

 

No, this company makes cleaning stuff. Not sure what machine this goes on or what it does.

The only comment they received was they need to turn the blinker on sooner. I'll take that.

On the way home, they were already talking about going to Grand Forks to visit some friends. I said can we start with some grocery store trips first?
