Yeah, i had the same thought. Also same conclusion...

Its just a piece of hdpe plastic i had lying aroubd, bent some tabs to slot into the existing latches to keep it put. Theres also a piece of rubber between it and the fuse box lid to keep it from abrading the labels.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
That was weird for me. Like the music was very definitely creed and the lyrics were very definitely Rudolph the Red-Nosed reindeer but for some reason that sounded way more like Eddie vedder

    From last weekend ^

Not to mention when we go to the offroad parks and camp it keeps him busy while I setup/break down and it's something he looks forward to doing together after we wheeled all day.

I always thought the RC crawler stuff was interesting but had no motivation to get into it with all the hobbies I already had, but after he showed an interest and it's a bonus for him to enjoy camping and wheeling more it became a no brainer.

Seemed really steep for that many miles. You could get a near-pristine 80 or 100 series for that price.

Some people aren't able to maintain a 30 year old truck and should pay for something a bit newer y'know

It doesn’t matter cause I can’t afford either. That just came up locally and the asking price seemed really ambitious. Maybe that’s the going rate for those though.

How does one go through the effort to do a SAS (might I say one of the worst executed SAS I've seen) just to put these fucking disgusting stretched swampers on...
