Anyone replace your fog lights in the lower front bumper area?
What light brand, series, & color amber / white, did you go with?
    Happy with your choice?
Is it steetable, regardless if "legal" or not.....
Waiting for Baja design to release their s1 light pod for the pocket below the headlight & definitely going with that, would be nice if it was a larger light or 2, but it is what it is....

Also if you went amber "yellow", are you happy with the look & performance?

I don't deal with snow ever or rain much, white would be the better choice.
Not into the "orange" look like some brands I see.....
Not interested in the did dynamics as they're way to orange for my taste / preference...
    Seems pointless...
For me it's mostly function but in-regards to color, not sure what would look best due to the shape of the light, low profile / long....
Seen plenty of ford f150's out here running the lager "yellow amber" square Baja design ditch style light as fogs out here in cali & the yellow overall look is impressive....

Just need some insight / brain massage....

I'd probably be looking at the the selectable yellow/white Rigid branded fogs from the Pro if I had a 4G and wanted to do something with lightning.

Do the Baja Design S2 fog light from the Tundra fit the Tacoma? I'd guess both trucks are using the same lamps. I like the S1 for under the haed light that you mentioned. I would imagine a replacement bezel is required to make that work.

This right here is why I like when OEMs use a standard size fog light in their design, it's easier to replace with one of the many aftermarket options available in that size. OEMs could still use what ever size lamp they want as long as the bezel opening could accommodate the standard 3-4" lamps as well.

Im leaning toward the BD sport s2's in amber "yellow" in the fog locations.
& BD s1's in the vent pockets below the headlights...
Doing this for sure, real soon....

Just figured ide post this to see if im missing something....

I changed mine to Diode Dynamics ambers. I didn't need white fog lights. If it's foggy and I'm using them white is bright but more blinding and reduces actual visibility. Amber cuts through more.

When I changed the grille, did amber for that light bar as well for same reasons.

Diode Dynamics is street legal which is why I went that route.

i’m not knocking your choice but to me diode dynamics looks really orange. Not Amber to me…
I’m looking for more of a yellow in the lower bumper area…
Baja design also makes both an SAE Street legal and off-road use only…
But I also agree with you, white would probably add more performance in the lower bumper area, but going yellow…
Mix of light, yellow in lower bumper, clear below the headlights

By definition amber is an orange-yellow hue; not a pure yellow hue. I feel it's spot on for expectation of what amber should be. Just check a color wheel reference.

It isn't the greatest photo, but here's the light on against the front wall of the garage. This is the amber light bar, but it's the same light. I haven't bothered to take a night picture outdoors to be able to post that.

I just can't do the full-on orange lense cover on the DD, looks like a marker light when they're off.....
Call me anal, whatever, just can't......
Yes, when they're lit, they're plenty "yellow / amber"........

Yup. To each their own. That's why it's nice to have options. Where, for me, the marker lights are one of the dumbest things... but others love them.
Here's what it looks like in place and turned off (again the light bar, but the fogs are the same, just only one six-inch panel).

    Yeah, just can't!!!!
    Especially on white....
Doesn't look so bad with bronze....
Guess im a chicky interior decorator....

I like the 1 piece design of the fogs, simpler than 4 s2's.
Think my mind is made-up though,
Im not even going to bother with the SAE's, going big....
with the "yellow" lenses, not clear.

I've always wanted selective yellow out of a clear lens.

Have you seen the green that has been added to amber warning lights usually found on highway service vehicles? It's commonly a seperate green lamp and amber lamp.

I have seen warning lights that create an almost highvis lime or yellow color of light. Presumably it's a mix of both amber and green led, it's a different color than slective yellow. This color light will most likely replace amber warning lights and traffic advisors over time.

Maybe using multiple color leds could produce a slective yellow beam thru a clear lens?

I think I get what you’re saying. The DD fog lamp itself is orange. I have them and love them. Lights up the back-roads nicely. But yes, they look like side-marker reflector orange.

Haven't seen a single fog replacement that looks any good. I am WAAAAY to anal to replace the OE fogs with something that doesn't look factory. The ones I have seen replacing them look to "Pep Boys" for me. If someone comes up with a perfect replacement and it was selectable from white to orange I'd do the upgrade. If not stock it is.

If you want them to look factory, the clear diode dynamics, the cali raised, & rigid all have a 1 piece design that look factory in white with a clear lense.....
Performance will blow away the factory lights...

Sadly the installs I have seen of these they look far from factory. They don't fit the same hole perfectly.

Even if you don’t encounter snow, rain, dust, or fog, our "Baja Amber" lens is designed to provide an exceptional experience, balancing both functionality and maximum light output. Our Clear light offers a 5000K color temperature, which closely resembles natural daylight, reducing fatigue and improving terrain recognition. However, I prefer a full amber setup for my vehicle. Plus, the S1 kit is coming soon!
