Most only make decent money when they are traveling and have their own rig. But most dont work all year long.

my union also does welders and they base our hourly wage on those guys only working 70-80% of the year

I used to think they were cool when I was a kid but then I discovered Team Associated and Axial. I thought the RC hobby was all just putting the same aluminum stronger parts on crappy Traxxas cars but it turns out the other brands aren't made of the most brittle plastic since Bakelite and suddenly RC cars were more fun. Went from breaking my Traxxas Rustler and Slash every time I went to use them to having a nearly stock TA B4.1 Buggy and SCX 10 that were tough as nails. Traxxas craptastic construction isn't as apparent if they still have brushed motors and you undergear them, that will keep you mostly out of trouble.

I had a SCX10 ii with vanquish on basically the whole drive train. was basically indestructible. Vanquish partd are pricey but well worth the money. Scalerfab accessories are also nice and hold up well.

I never liked fast rc cars. That green Truck top speed was about as fast a brisk walk. But it was so tourqey i could probably break my wrist if i tried stopping ot

    Yeah but different application

Vanquish is definitely next on my list for a crawler

For a basher, Arrma smokes Traxxas in every way (reliability, parts, etc) and their actual speeds are true if not better

I am sure the Traxxas crawler probably keeps him out of more trouble too. I have been impressed with the Bronco's durability though since he is 4 and anything but gentle.

What front axle is that? The clearance on my SCX10 ii is shit. I also have that bumper too but I want to cut and re weld the outer supports to make it look more like my truck.

Vanquish made their own crawler, that thing is bad ass. I loved all the parts i got from them for my scx10
