The 4R press release mentions a $1450 destination charge, same as the LC 250 which is imported from Japan, if that is any indication. I don't know what the destination charge is for a Tacoma. I got tired of looking for a dealer where I could look at a window sticker.

 

Ok ok, just looked at the GX550 and it has a much better green plus a v6 twin turbo engine. 69k for the overland build. Besides that, I know nothing about those. Look pretty nice but I don’t think the rear hatch window rolls down…

I wouldn’t take it on anything that I would take my truck on though…

GX is probably the best Toyota SUV, isn't it the 3.5 with out any hybrid option? Pricing can be close to the 2.4 hybrid found in the LC 250. Sequioa would give you more power with the hybrid, I think GX also gets smaller turbos. There's also the LX and didn't the LX-H get announced in the past few month?

I saw something where 24 4R had a destination charge of 1395, and 24 Tacoma was 1495. Which isn't much of an indication as to where production will be.

 

Good info! I’ll take a look while bored in the future on some of the differences. I don’t need anything new, I just like new and shiny. It’s fun to look too.

I've always like the Desert Dune Metallic that my old T4R is colored in. When I hit the lottery I'll go full pimp mode and buy a 5th Gen T4R and have it completely disassembled and resprayed in the 1A5 paint code. ... because no one will care !
