I am currently bartering with a coworker who's one of the biggest, most eccentric cheapskates I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I'll shoot you a message if we don't work something out..which isn't unlikely; but it's been entertaining at the same time I will admit.

I’ve been putting a lanolin based oil on my frame and my wife’s Camry for years. I do all the maintenance on my truck and wife’s Camry except this, I’ve been taking it for years to the company that sprays the state and local plow trucks and the military trucks. I think next year after I retire, I’ll start doing it and use Woolwax. I live in NJ until May, I’ve done this for years and stand by it.

Been using fluid film the last few years but for the money it .might be worth it to let someone else do it instead of my laying in the driveway.

I’ve been in the middle of an aux fuse panel/rear seat delete combo project and last night I got the final iteration of my aux fuse panel wired and set up.

I used a mount from a place called Paranoid Fabrications. It fit perfectly and came blank so I could place the breaker and panel however I wanted. The ANL fuse in the back is for my amplifier -this runs to a distribution box under the driver’s seat with a more appropriately sized fuse for my modest amp.

Speaking of which, I ran some new cable and moved my amp to under the driver’s seat.

Today I’ll finish adding in this Audiocontrol Matrix line driver that I picked up, install a remote turn on relay that I ordered from CE Auto Electric, and start adding the deck so I can mount the sub.

labor of love? Also working that 8-5 overlaps with business hours, and needed to get it done between snow/salt and a recent 2 day window of rain that helped clear some salt

Is that a Taco Vinly grill? Any modifications to the surround to make it fit? Looks really good, I've got the taco vinyl 1st version pro grill, but the 2.0 looks alot better.

Any shots from the side? I like the OEM pro grille but it sticks out kind of awkwardly at some angles. This has been growing on me..

Found more stuff to take apart!

Found out about the VVT screens last night. Had enough varnish showing after the RMS removal I got a little nervy about their state so I popped them out while I still have the alternator out (and screw it, may as well refresh the oil cooler and filter adapter seals too). Looks like they're just dandy though, but may just replace them while they're out.

200k miles - has some stuff going for it and some other things not; highway queen with 5k intervals, but conventional oil from a chain place. I don't think most people even are aware of these until they start having problems with them, if yours hasn't been neglected, they're probably fine as well!
