I agree, I think it’s pathetic but I’ve already voiced my opinion on deer farms before. I wonder how much that ignorant idiot paid to shoot it if it was hunted and shot.

I just found and read an article on this buck and it was in fact shot by someone who apparently thought they was a hunter.

 

Did it say what they paid?

There is a high-fence operation about a half hour from me. Beautiful property - I had worked it many years ago as a forester with the previous owner before it became a "hunting" preserve. Last I remember it was like $20,000 minimum for a buck and you paid by the size class you wanted to shoot. Guided hunts and you were told which deer to shoot. Lots of freaks and monsters. Guys would brag year after year that it was a great place to go or take your youngin' to get their first buck. They did take pictures of each buck killed so the 'hunter' couldn't claim it was a fair chase kill for Boone & Crockett or Pope & Young or other records.

 

No high fence or canned hunts for me!

There's one right across the road from public land I hunt, you can see its not very big.

Yea I’m not a fan. It’s an industry that exists for the rich folk who like to stroke their ego.

Hell the low fence outfitter next to me has fully sound proof and heatef blinds. I don’t even like that shit.
