    Or Scheel-Mann seats if you really want to treat yourself.

    Only seen them online, but I hear tons of great things about them both from a quality standpoint as well as comfort.

    They're very nice, but $2500 per seat... you might as well buy the Maserati haha. I told Dan I'd buy his when he does his upholstery project and put them in my LC. I like my Mastercraft suspension seat for the truck though, its comfy and durable, thing has more farts than you can shake a stick at stuck in it and it hasn't even begun to fade.

    Fuck, I didn't know they were that much.

    I'll check out his blog later as I remember seeing him post about it.

    Funny we're talking about seats, I *may* want to put in a different driver seat in the Z but Tyler did a great job cleaning everything up :anonymous:

    @time623

    How tall are you?

    I ask because this is where some opinions may benefit you more than others.

    Z31 is the ultimate freedom in modification, do whatever to it, you can't ruin it... you can't make it worth less. It's nothing and that's its freedom

    Yeah don't worry my actual seat budget is basically something from a part-out for $200, not actually anywhere near new bucket territory
    My list for $1000+ upgrades is way too long to put seats on it too
    5'9", so shouldn't be too difficult

    While we're on the topic;

    Why are cheapo Amazon buckets like this a terrible idea: Never seen anyone even mention them as an option, I imagine its for a reason though..

    Those exact seats popped up when I was looking for some Recaro's and other options

    Weird

    Maybe cause you're young it doesn't matter, but I value a comfortable seat and I'm even considering buying a Sparco again if I can't find a nice used alternative

    They're Big Lots! couch leather stretched over old packing materials made by children that have more work history than your entire family. You'll get tired of sitting in them before you even get to see them in person.

    I'd rather sit in a Kirkey drag seat cross country than those cheapo things because at least the Kirkey won't fold me in half the wrong way in an accident

    Back to the hunt for cheap part outs then haha
    Also, if they're electric +/- heated seats, shouldn't it be as simple as supplying 12V and throwing a switch in the way for heaters?
    Or is that a way too simplified view and not worth the trouble

    Some work like that, some need a PWM controller to not overpower and burn the things out, they don't all work at 100% duty. Older seats should be able to be direct though
