Not all springs pull 14", usually only lighter duty.
Archive MD packs and HH pull 14".

For HD packs, 12" is a better fit

Is there any way to not run wheel spacers with a 2.5 x12 shock relocation? I have scs ray 10 with 4 inch backspacing and -12 mm offset with 255 85 16 tires. I want to do this but don't want wheel spacers.
    Thanks!

You'll need different wheels. If my math is mathing (someone correct me if I'm wrong) you'll need a wheel with 3.5" or less backspacing. What's your reasoning for no spacers? Your current wheel only needs 1/2" spacers

It's just one more thing to worry about I suppose. I could be okay with 1/2" spacers.

Been running 1.5" spacers in the rear for a little over 4 years now. I just check torque every oil change when I rotate tires.

As @Strictlytoyz said, I believe you would likely need their 16x8 -25ET 3.5" BS with 255s.

I've had Spidertrax on my Taco for 8years

Happy to report Dobinsons MRA92-A2522 12” travel fit quite neatly.

The 3-way adjustment and massive finned external reservoir are clutch.

Ok, I've done checking every post on 59 pages in one day and found a lot of good info. My case is very specific, I have a custom made truck camper. The wheel well has one inch overhang on the frame which is completely different if compared with Tacoma bed. And the height from the frame to the top of the wheel well is 10-3/4 inches at the potential location of the tower. I can lift the camper, it has subframe and already lifted about one inch and a half. May I ask to measure the top height of the relocation tower from the frame near the bump stop bracket(it will be the hi point of the frame due to the curve)? I've found one post about the height of the tower but it's not clear from which point. Also if it's possible the inclination of the tower. Thank you.

    PXL_20250122_170732914.jpg PXL_20250122_170707099.jpg

I have some work to do to properly mount the camper, I will temporary remove bushings and would like to prepare for the relocation.

My truck's been parked at my work all month, but I should be picking it up Friday or Saturday if we finally finish the job I'm on. If Eric hasn't gotten back to you by then, I'll get some measurements for you.

Top of the frame to top of the relocation bracket is 10.5"
    The bracket leans outward 11°

What valve stacks are people running with this kit in their smooth body shocks? I have a JD fab 4 inch long travel kit with an 18/12 valve stack in that (I know its a heavy stack). Im spring over in the rear with all the archive products and king 2.5x12 smoothies with adjusters. When bombing the desert my truck bucks so damn much in the rear. Currently, I have accutunes most mild tune in it that they offer. Im wondering what stacks you guys have that would help me fight this a little better.

For others looking for a cheap shock while your main shocks are off the truck, i can confirm that f350 rear shocks do fit well. only one of the sleeves can accept the 3/4 bolt that comes with the kit and fits through your king/fox/ads/locked shocks. the other, will have to be a bolt sourced through a local hardware store. i have these on while my 2.5 x 12s get revalved by Accutune Offroad. i hope this finds anyone else who is looking for a cheap shock to throw in while your main ones are being serviced for those who daily thier rigs.

Total Chaos mid-travel front. JD Fab SUA rear.
Your truck likely bucks because you have no uptravel. Go easy on the bombs with spring over.

981-25-002 are these the correct smoothies for an icon RXT leaf pack. Trying to keep it simple.

Possibly on Option 1 lightest, RXTs can do over 12". If you are running them with the thick leave installed, then more like 12"

I'm on option 2. Sounds like limit straps are recommended anyhow. Probably go that route to keep them from topping out

What happens if you do not run spacers? Also, what is the torque spec for the bolts mounting to the bed?
