Hell yeah. I'm planning to go there the first 2 days. School starts back up so I can't be down there for too long

 

Is anybody up to participate in Overland experience which is a part of the KOH? Or maybe somebody already has such experience in the past?

63 Days away.
I took my motorhome last year and went for the desert challenge (had a blast). Budget and days off work may put me in the Tacoma motel for 1 or 2 nights this year for the big race. If it's ok I might camp with you guys.

I'm rewiring all my accessories and I need to install bypasses.

 

Finally, I decided to go with big wheels. I paid off Tundra and can now focus on Tacoma. Even thinking about towing Tacoma on a trailer but not sure about it. The idea looks good but it's not 3/4 diesel, so, maybe not worth it.

 

Im hoping to finish the wiring today and then get these on in time to get a test session in before heading to the lakebed. If anyone is interested in the king smooth bodies currently on my truck I'll have them serviced and posted for sale.

 

Seems like a good reason to run some "209 Tacos" flags as well as unnecessary light on the truck. Boom, new mod in the works! I'm looking forward to hanging in the desert with y'all.

Looks like our plans are to head down Wednesday 2/5 and return home in the morning/early afternoon on Sunday 2/9.

And I've got a "List" of shit to do again. Seems like every year it's a mad thrash to get the truck done at the last minute.

Truck hasn't moved from the driveway since it came home from this.

 

I've got a new steering rack, new power steering pump, new power steering cooler on the shelf, to go in.

And... looks like I'm going to break down and order Solo fully fabbed spindles and RCV CVs tonight.

I also need to run through and find out the issues on my fog lights and my wig wag / chase lights. And I need to fix my diff skid.

And I'll need to probably order a new set of tires.

 

I should have my truck finished up by the end of next week. If you want some help LMK!

I might be climbing in Bishop the weekend before KOH. If the climbing trip firms up I'll be headed to JV on Monday to claim our campsite.
