    So recently I have discovered that this tube that runs coolant is leaking and I want to replace it but I have no clue what type of tube or any description of the tube it is. Please help

    That assumes it is the hose leaking at the clamp. The metal pipe is the inlet to the heater core under the dash. There is also an outlet pipe and hose below.

    When's the last time your coolant was changed?

    You may want to flush the system and replace any other hoses that are old or soft. When you put one new hose on, the pressure will find the next weakest hose to leak from...and so on and so forth.
