I'd think someone with a smaller drone would be trying to film close up, follow them, or try to bring one down. There's lots of people with drones.

I also saw that drone stuff on the evening news - seems like they have running lights? I would say the military would make short work of one with a helo - if authorized to do it. Our own US equipment in stealth mode would be in total blackout.

    Just like the China balloons.

And when the Pentagon just doesn't know what they are, that translated means they know exactly what they are. Let's see how much bolder the buggers get.

Both of you guys are up early. Good morning.

@Jim727386 Congratulations on the new job.

Good morning. Rained all day yesterday and my sister went to visit my cousin. My wife and I will stop by this afternoon to visit her in the hospital. The bone marrow biopsy tests results are starting to come back to the hospital. She has aplastic anemia which can be treated. Her physician of 17 years told this to the hospital, but they blew him off because he does not have right to practice at this hospital. One of the many failings of the healthcare system. Going to start a weight training program today to be better prepared if I decide on a knee replacement. Had a nice long conversation with my brother, yesterday, about the process. I need to make a decision by tomorrow to start the ball rolling if I decide to have the procedure.

Good morning! Breezy and cool morning here in St. Pete. 45 now with a high of 63 forecast.
Hmmm...yeah... those drones...don't get me started. If our "leaders and protectors" are stumped, that is scary. So you're telling me an adversary could be launching and landing them from a ship off shore? They have followed Coast Guard boats? Coast Guard doesn't know if there are any rules of engagement? What payload might they carry? What info. are they gathering? And this has been going on for two weeks or more? WTH is goin on here?
:boink:  :annoyed:See? Ya got me started!!

Thanks @95SLE Tom! Excited and truly intend for this to be my last career move. Knee replacement? I think the proactive approach you're thinking about would be a fantastic move. I am shocked by how much my leg strength has diminished over the past few years. It is hard to get up off the floor without grabbing something nearby for stability.

Morning Jim  Congratulations on getting the new job Jim . A win/win is a good way to go.

Morning Carl . It's a shame they aren't flying lower and during the day, A little skeet shooting would be nice

Morning Kurt . Could they be Door Dash or Amazon delivery drones  out on practice runs...

    Morning Travlr .

    Morning Steve

    Morning Paul

    Morning Mark

Good Morning Jim . Stay warm...

Morning Tom . Glad to hear they have a treatment for your cousin. I'll keep her in my prayers  and thoughts. I had a knee replacement done in June of 2021. Glad I had it done. Bone on bone, pain when walking, weather also affected it. Had it done and one week later (when the wife wasn't home) I was walking without the walker and driving myself to therapy . Therapy wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. My only issue with the replacement is evertime I go thru a metal detector I get pulled aside and checked manually . Minor issue but worth not having the pain. Good luck with your decision.

No more rain until Tuesday so that is a plus. With the overcast skies don't know if they have been flying drones in my area or not. Word has it they were spotted in the Philadelphia area .
Have a great day folks and be safe out there.

    Morning all:
Going to plan Z today, going to leave to hunt at noon and hunt till dark, something we don't normally do.
There's only 3 days left in the rifle season, then the last resort season of flintlock and the second archery season opens after Christmas, looks like we are going to need to dust off the flintlocks and  that we even see a deer, this has absolutely been a disastrous season for us. :(

Good to hear they know what the issue is and can treat it.

Do it!!! Might be a tough couple of weeks, but sure you will be happy with the results in the long run!

    Good luck
