Pretty sure they’ll total it. Fixing to trip 250,000 next week.

If the A plier is damaged, then they will want to total it. I was involved in an accident with my tacoma that has more than 400,000 miles on it. I asked my insurance agent if there was anyway not to total it, that would be great. I just can’t afford to replace it right now. She didn’t total it, and give me a check for the damage.

Radiator is busted, fender is pushed into door, steering got tight, etc. when I saw steam luckily there was a church right there so I pulled in the parking lot. Talked to a lady next door who said I could leave it here for a day or two. I sent my insurance man pictures and an email. We’ll see what he says. Waiting on trooper for report right now.

In highschool I worked for a restaurant supply place, the owner would go to auctions and buy weird stuff sometimes. Once he came back with an old oak phone booth with stamped tin lining inside. I still think about how cool that was.

That looks worse than the first picture. It hit high enough to avoid the airbag sensor, but hard enough to damage the radiator, plus.

I was coming up the road from the right in the photo, hit it doing 55 cause that's the speed limit :D. He came from nowhere, running fast. I didn't even have time to hit the brake. He was probably 30-40-50 yards from where he's laying. He went flying and sliding and landed right there.

I am not keeping it. I ate one when I was younger that had been hit and it wasn't good. Bruised meat has a different taste to me.

Waited for the trooper for an hour. Handed him my insurance card and he ask for my license. I handed it to him and told him I was waiting on my insurance man and depending on what he said I may haul it to the house. He handed me my stuff back and said if you are doing that you don't need a report but be sure to take pictures of the fur before you move it.

    Glad you’re ok.

This gave me flashbacks to when my wife and I hit a female moose in her S70. Rutting season and she was being chased by a male. Clipped her left front leg and her head smashed into the windshield on the passenger side. If it was a male with any size rack, I think my wife (then fiancée) could’ve been killed.

The moose got up and ran away, thankfully, with him in hot pursuit. Majestic creatures…

No airbags either. Took over a month to get the car back.

Good luck with the aftermath, I hope you don’t have any lingering effects.

That's an awful start to the day maybe old coworker has a spare motorcycle laying around you can not borrow? Time to run that old girl with no front fender, and fab up a tube bumper. I'd hate to let that car go I'm sure it's saving you plenty day to day....

Soooo glad you’re Ok. No airbag deployed might save it from being a write off & so close to the holiday season too. When you said you had deer tags left I wasn’t thinkin’ the drive thru kind.

So I’ll leave it as Mornin’ All & maybe wait for the good part to happen. :)
