So I bought that graphics kit for the 701 a while back.. now the question is..

    A) spend the time scraping the old graphics off, keep the white/yellow/grey bodywork or
    B) buy all new OEM black body work and start fresh, not having to peel anything off, and ebay my stock stuff. A fresh set is about $250/shipped

I'm leaning towards new set, keeping some of the highlighter yellow trim and the yellow fork guards

I'd say it depends on if you have the space and funds for it while you wait for the OG set to sell. Personally I would keep the original and scrape it, OEM bodywork ain't cheap

just a couple of things tbh
depends on what graphics kit you got tbh.

taking off old stickers aint to hard thankfully so that would be my vote unless the graphic would look better in a black setup then id say new plastics

Only significant change is my bike's seat is black/grey/yellow aftermarket. I have the plastics as pictured, but in this graphic they seem more grey than white.

hmm thats a difficult one tbh. i do think the white on off white looks better personally i feel black would make it look odd and almost chalk board esk?
now you could get the same yellow thats on those fork guards for the rest and have that underneath the white graphics so it looks like it has a highlighter outline kinda like the fork guard down there but that might be a bit to loud for you.

Thanks! I’ve had it for a year and a half, haven’t really done much to it other than wheels and tires because I’m always out riding. :D

I do want to do a 6 speed swap from the E46 M3 and fix up some of the sagging interior stuff but really just enjoy it.

Yeah with the RC 390 and general maintenance of 6 vehicles I don’t want another full out project lol

I think a good 6 speed can be close to $3k. With clutch, shifter, etc it could be up to $5k.

Definitely a long term project that I’d only justify if I start driving this car more.

Im always nervous that Im going to lose interest in my projects halfway through tbh. It’s a mental battle at times haha.

I’m not going to be riding the RC 390 any time soon but am starting track prep early since I have a lot to do (key delete, transmission stuff, valve adjustment, safety wiring, etc).

Just outside of Portland. I wouldn't live anywhere inside of Multnomah county..
But the rest of oregon is amazing.

it happens sadly... my civic could have been done idk how many months ago but doing this whole shell swap crap has honestly burnt me out on it... ya it was fun and neat at the start but now its just not fun and annoying.... i dont find my self wanting to work on it ever anymore... i see it as more i need to get it done so i can get it out of my garage and not as a man im excited to go work on it... id love to have it done and enjoy it but idk just lost interest atm sadly...

whats the purpose of a key delete? just so you dont loose it kinda thing or easy to just hit a button kinda thing? transmission stuffs?
