    Neat! That does look stronger.

Can you still use the factory/OEM body panels, headlights, grille, etc? Or do you have to fab up custom mounts for all that stuff?

As far as I know it will be able to use the OEM panels. That is my plan.Joe will need to confirm. I do have the JD inner fender kit installed already.

I have poly bushings in the front, and oem rubber for the cab.
My front core support has actually stopped cracking more and more, and has been like above pictures for the last 5 years.
I have not had issues with any wiring or stuff exposed by the fuse box.
I spray it with a hose and power wash, drive in the rain, etc…
But that’s like maybe 5x a year it gets wet as I’m in SoCal & don’t do mud snow or salt with the truck.

    Direct oem replacement
One version fits the JD inner fenders or you can get the Pro version with inner fenders that can clears 37s but requires aftermarket lighting like I have or a DOT option I'm working on.

Im tearing it back down this weekend to check each part over after almost 100 miles of Ocotillo. Gonna paint it with Alloy Armor and take final photos of the Pro Kit on my truck.
Will update also with CAD photos of the JD fender inner mounted version.. the structure and strength are the same ,its just different how it mounts to JD inners. Didn't want people to think they have to toss a great set of inners onto the marketplace

Out of curiosity what is the weight of your support.

A continual cycle I see with aftermarket is excessively heavy parts that could be 1/3 the weight and maintain the strength necessary.

as an example. The JD inners while a nice part are wickedly over built for the purpose they serve. I never have weighed them but they are at minimum 3-4x heavier than what they replace.

Not a call out or anything of that nature, however I do feel not enough folks are concerned about weight. And it’s a huge part of the entire dynamic of a vehicle.

Can the JD inners clear 37's with aftermarket lighting as well? I am running the JD 2.25 LT with their inner fenders and 37's.

I do not intend to shame or bash at all, or maybe a joke is going over my head, but has he not been working on the same:
    - Front LT
    - Rear link design
    - Front end swap
Since like 2015 — with, to my knowledge, never actually completing one design before starting from scratch on another ?

Yes it's heavier because it's thicker. Do you know the weight of the stock components this is replacing?
Replacing longevity with a few pounds is a strange argument

Should have been more clear. the additional clearance is upfront at the headlight area. I think the JD requires more trimming up front after moving lower control arm forward in the pivot kit and 37s

To an extent yes. That is correct. But my point is .063 material would have been more than sufficient for the jd inners. However .090 is what was used. One inner is probably close to the weight of the entire factory front structure.

I feel there is somewhat of a disconnect when it comes to a broke vs press formed part. Press formed parts are in most cases inherently weaker than a broke part as material thickness varies across the entire surface.

Weight is a sacrifice regardless when upgrading these trucks. But care should be taken in the aspect of where that weight is being added.
