If you think you got a good deal.
    Then that’s all that matters.

    Why worry about it now?

Enjoy the new truck. The deal is done.
Take the truck out and enjoy it.

    Oh….Welcome to TW!

Thank you so much and I just wanted to make sure. I feel like it’s a good deal. I appreciate the welcome. It feels good to finally own a Tacoma.

Whats that work out to...9.7% off MSRP before the rebate and dealer add ons. I would say that is good. And like Shooter said....as long as you are happy with it then that is all that matters.

I'm too old. I can't see a 2wd truck being $41.3k. That's what I paid for my new TRD Off Road 4Runner, albeit in 2019...

Its a deal for sure, but you may have been able to get another $1k out of them....
Lots of dealers are negotiating $5k off...
You also want to verify you have the correct interest rate...
Ive had mine less than 1 month, haven't made a payment yet & my int rate through Toyota is 3.9%....

right off my dealer page just now:

    Cool, that’s $51,000 today.

This $41k price today is the same as a $33,000 price in 2019. The 2019 TRD sport started at $32,545. Considering the updates on the 4g, seems like a significant improvement for the same real cost.

2024's are starting at $47k in Hawaii. I would be happy with $41.

Everything in Hawaii is expensive. My daughter lives on Maui and it freaks me out to grocery shop there.

I think most dealers are offering anywhere between $3000-5000. So that’s fair.

You need to go to Safeway on Fridays. If it's still there...it may have been in the fire. I lived on Maui and Oahu...just have to shop like you mean it. Times is the other market...on the west side.

Yes. Tacoma is the cherrah truck there. One could commit crimes in a white or silver Tacoma and never be caught.

YES!!! Goodness, I remember going in there seeing people just off the plane with the flat carts loaded down with steak and booze and all kinds of treats. I was behind one family and they had $1,300 worth of stuff for a week. You know the cleaning staff at those timeshares get all the leftovers.
I lived on the west side up by Kahana in a resort (long story) but I leased an apartment from an old couple that were original owners from the 80's. My rent was CHEAP and I was oceanfront on the 11th floor looking out at Molokai. I never ran out of free beer from the visitors that were going back to the mainland.

You’re welcome to live in a past that no longer exists and pretend new trucks start at $20k, but it won’t ever be true again

Nobody is asking you to pay any amount for a truck.

In your example, though, real cost hasn’t increased.

Looks like an average market standard deal. But $0 down on $41K at 5% interest? Ouch. Not a good deal on the loan.

“Good deal” and a 4th gen is a contradiction but I digress

Lots of us are happy with ours for the price. It’s the same real price as Tacomas have always been, but it’s the best truck yet
