Didn’t get a chance to put any miles on it after install tonight. Will put about 70 miles on it tomorrow and will report back.

Finally got the DV8 centric bumper installed. Wired the lights into the stock auxiliary pigtails. Also, you can jam a starlink gen 3 up into the sunroof and it works perfectly.

Nice.. Not a fan of sunrooofs, but that is a convincing argument!

Slightly louder. No drone, but you can hear a deeper tone.

I tried to take video of it yesterday but my phone won't pick up the audio when I'm in my truck for some reason....even when I tried to turn the bluetooth off.

I will have to have my wife try as a passenger.

But it sounds nice, its moderately loud, you can hear the turbo spool a lot more. I can imagine a lot of people would complain that it is too loud. I really like the sound though.

Heading on a road trip Friday, will get some audio clips of it:thumbsup:

Hope the fire isn’t in the rear seat area if you need it for yourself

I’m hoping the fire’s not in the truck at all :)

But, to your point, no, it’s not an ideal placement and I may yet go another route. It was however only 10-15 mins of work and good enuf for now.

Surprising difficult. Getting out the Torx screws for the front rail was difficult, make sure you have a nice Torx #30 tool. My first attempt failed and I went out and got a T wrench and it allowed me enough Torque to get them out. Getting the locking rails to work is tedious but not hard. Probably a 3 hour job total.

It’s really solid and I would be surprised if it leaks. Talking of the side bed rails is scary, you have to pull really hard but it worked without issue.

One last tip. The the black silicone seal that covers the seal near the cab, the directions say to cover with parchment but the parchment stuck after 24 hours.

Got it done! Thank you for the help @MarkSAZ. I skipped anything that had the must stay over 50F for 24 hours warning. Don't look at the half off decal. I have more important mods going on.
